Day 17 - I've been tagged

I received a comment from my friend Valerie who has a blog entitled Simply4God  I have been told I have been tagged and now I need to write 8 Random Facts about myself. I was just thinking of all the things I could write for Day 17 of my Blog 365 adventure so this is ideal - thanks Valerie :),

Now of course with all things there are rules:

1.
Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.

2. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.

3.
At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.

Here are my 8 Random Facts about myself:

 1. I LOVE marmite - there I've said itJ

2. I met my husband, Nigel, when I was 17 at a New Years Eve Fancy Dress Party, which was being held at The Salvation Army Ilford.  My friend, Karen, and I went dressed as clowns and I’m still trying, 29 years later, to work out what Nigel’s costume was!!  We were married 18 months later in 1981 and have just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary.

3. I delight in being a mother to my son, Karl, who is 21 – and still take him his breakfast in bed.  Yes, I know he’s spoilt – but hey do I care? NO

4. My biggest achievement was passing my driving and theory test at the age of 35.

5. At the age of two I moved overseas with my parents to Pakistan, then Sri Lanka and went to Boarding school at the age of 7 in India (only for a year)

6. I am a Christian and try to live a life worthy of the tag. One of my favourite Bible verses reads  “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me”’ Phil. 4:13

7. At the beginning of 2007 I was reunited with my friend Karen after 27 years – we went for meal and it was as though the years in between faded away.  I now have the privilege to conduct Karen’s father’s memorial service in October – never in my wildest imagination did I ever think, when we first met at the age of 11, I would be doing this and our paths would cross this way.

8. I love walking around London with Nigel and Karl (when he cares to join us) especially in the evenings and just soaking up the history, atmosphere, watching people and the sheer beauty of some of the old buildings.  My favourite landmark is Tower Bridge.

Now over to you my 8 chosen ones.. if you read this before I contact you SORRY

1. John         2. Ann      3. Ali      4. Shannon      5. Liz      6. Molly      7. Hannah      8.Dawn
