It's October and it's chilly well it's more the cold breeze really that I don't like - even put the heating on for an hour this afternoon to take the chill of the house AND closed the backdoor. When I'm in the house I always like the backdoor open to let a bit of fresh air into the house but not today - firmly shut it stayed - even the workmen on either side of our house had their jackets on to work outside.

The nights are drawing in quickly too and at the end of the month the clocks go back an hour which will make the mornings darker. Now everyone will be suffering from S.A.D. (seasonal affected disorder) but the one thing I look forward to during the dark mornings and evenings is Christmas when, nearly everyone, has their outdoor Christmas lights up and the streets just look so pretty.

It is now 7.15pm will finish off in the office, then do the washing up - might have a bath not in the washing up water I hasten to add!! and by then it should be 9.00pm ready for NCIS on the TV (the only programme I actually turn the telly on for!!) oopps NO I tell a fib I also tune in for Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday evenings.
