'special moments'

As soon as I walked through the doors of Christ Church this morning I heard everyones news - even though I've only been away a week!!!  it's amazing what can happen in a week.

I consider it a 'special' moment when asked to conduct a blessing of rose which is to be planted in memory of a mother, to listen to a lady twice my age share her concerns, joys and sadness from the past week, a 3 year old calling 'Judy, Judy'  desperate to show me his drawings.  To hear of folk having gone into hospital, another who has died, another who has gone into a nursing home and others moving away to be near family.

David said a phrase this morning in his sermon which caught my attention and summed up my feelings about my lovely folk at Christ Church - 'Human fellowship bound together in Christian love'
