Give me 5 mins to do a project and I'll have it completed - give me three months to do the same project and I will still wait until the last 5 mins to complete it. I work best and am more focused when under pressure... so I have 5 assignments to complete before the end of September - 2 have to be in by next Monday, which means I also have to allow posting time!! and so I attempted to start today.
Got my laptop positioned on the dinning room table (office is currently waiting to be decorated) books for reading, question paper, notes taken during class, box of tissues because I've got a cold and, of course, a cup of tea. Well I've made good progress - re-written the introduction at least four times, downloaded some good material of the internet and after this blog is posted will make another cuppa and carry on.
The other main event of the day has been waiting for the delivery of a projector, which eventually arrived at 6.45pm. Nigel & I carry out alot of speaking engagements at various churches, Salvation Army Corps/centres and other various groups within the town. The last projector was very large, heavy and was getting slightly tempermental - plus the fact it was kept in a suitcase on wheels to make it easier to transport but I always felt as though I was rushing out to catch a plane when pulling it along!! So at least the new one has arrived and it's so cute I can fit in into my handbag!!
Ok - cuppa time and back to my assignment :)
