Our Thursday Challenge is to show and tell something 'Favourite'.
I have a favourite photo. This was taken by me in August 1991 - at the time Nigel & I were working for The Salvation Army in Bangladesh and for our holiday we travelled to Coonoor, India where The Salvation Army has a retreat house. It was a particularly enjoyable holiday for me because it was where, as a 7 year old, I had attended Hebron Boarding school and The Retreat House called 'Surrendon' was where my family would come and we would holiday together. So it was a joy to take Nigel & Karl around all my old haunts.
This photo was taken at Surrendon and Karl is smiling because he could see that I was slipping down the slope as I took the photo.. I had the photo framed a few years ago with money that Nigel & I received for our 25th wedding anniversary. The photo hangs proudly above my fireplace.
